at the University of Cambridge
HUMAN FLOWS is a photographic exhibition of compelling images that explore flows in all their manifestations including – but not limited to – dance, body, energy, migration, pilgrimage and protest.
Flows are an integral property of the human experience. They influence our actions as individuals and as a society. From Dance to Migration, from Energy to Pilgrimage, flows can take many forms. Flows may be voluntary or forced, invited or constrained.
Winning photographs will be selected by a prestigious jury of photography professionals and academics for an exhibition at the University of Cambridge.
The exhibition will be launched on Thursday February 7, 2013 with a public symposium on the theme of “Human Flows”
Convened by Dr Christos Lynteris (CRASSH) and curated by Sam Barzilay (Creative Director, United Photo Industries).
